Brief Bio

Will Killian joined the faculty at MU in 2017 (and subsequently left in 2021). His research area includes predictive modeling, programming models, and program optimization. Prior to joining Millersville, he has worked at Intel where he focused on application fitness, optimization, and performance modeling. He has also worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) where he focused on portability abstraction, application turning, and accelerating multi-dimensional physics applications. Will continues to collaborate with LLNL on the RAJA Portability Abstraction Layer and CAMP libraries which make it easier for users to create scientific applications which run on upcoming supercomputing systems.
