Help - Java Breakout Characteristics
- You have 3 lives to defeat the game.
- Each block is worth 10 points and requires one hit to
destroy. Except for the light blue, Dr. Webster, it is worth 50 points and
requires 5 hits to destroy.
- The 'S' power up is a short platform.
- The 'L' power up is a long platform.
- The 'F' power up is a laser. Five can be shot at a time.
- The 'C' power up is catch. The ball will rest on the platform
instead of bouncing. This allows the user to aim and release the ball by
clicking.
- The '+' power up is worth 400 points.
- The '-' power up is worth -500 points.
- Catching a new power up, losing a ball, and advancing to the
next level will eliminate the previous power up's effect.
