Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.
- John Lennon, Beautiful Boy
The Fall 2016 textbook is a custom imprint of Reges and Stepp's book - Building Java Programs (third edition) that includes the CS 161 content but not the CS 162 content.
The ISBN is 9781269788977. The bookstore lists its author as Liffick.
It is definitely required but used versions are available.
You are welcome to use the full third edition or the fourth edition (which will cost considerably more).
