Connecting the Community with Computing and Technology

 

Millersville University and Penn Manor have formed a new cyber partnership:  there are two parts to this partnership, both of which will have a different point of focus every year:

Fall Lecture Series

Spring Learning Series

 

 

Fall 2008 Lecture Series (on Social Networking & Security)

 

For Fall 2008, our objectives are to
  1. educate students on the power and the danger of social networking.
  2. empower the community and parents to help their children from online threats - significantly in the social networking arena (e.g. Facebook, MySpace)

 

Dr. Nazli Hardy, Assistant Professor of Millersville and Charlie Reisinger, IT Director of Penn Manor School District will be giving a series of lectures to students and the community.  They will be joined by 2 MU students, Kaitlyn Allen and Kelly Pirosko on many of these talks.
